What do you think about GC getting rid of members that have "O" posts............. in other forums that I am in, they omit members who have "O" posts in over 6 months...........should GC get rid of "O" members?

I don't see the big deal. If someone hasn't posted in a while and still has zero posts total, then that person isn't likely to be attached to a certain username. They most likely aren't that into being a member if they haven't posted AT ALL. So, why not delete them? All they have to do is sign up again... It's not like it takes hours to register. No biggie -- just sign up again.

I don't think it's a good idea.

Just because a person has zero posts doesn't mean he/she doesn't log onto GC often. I know there are a bunch of my IHQ/VST sisters that lurk on the boards and don't post on purpose.

If it's a matter of freeing up more space, then maybe John should take a look at the accounts that registered, activated, and never signed on ever again. I know he has a log of when each member logs on to GC. At the same time it would probably be a good idea to get rid of the accounts that never bothered to activate.

Still, it would be a pain in the ass to do so, so I'd just leave things the way they are. Who really cares about the long and extensive birthday log anyway?

I forgot to add that not everyone has an easy time registering. I know of at least 10 people that have had problems with that. They'd register their info, and wait for the confirmation email that'll allow them to activate their account.

A lot of people haven't received this email and are still unable to participate on GC.

John is aware of the situation and hopefully it'll be taken care of soon.
