Anyone have any cute ideas for t-shirts or other alumnae Greek wear? I am thinking about stuff for my AA.

What about any kinds of othe random stuff with letters and such?

I like a polo shirt with my stitched letters. I just got one off e-bay and it's pretty cool. Seems like in AA t-shirts are soooo college.

Unless the shirt is for a specific event, you may want to go with something generic. Something that alumni / alumnae may wear for most any casual event.

My suggestion would be a simple pullover or button down shirt. Also called polo, causal, golf, club or resort wear. Anything with a collar. And a simple long sleeve oxford button down for autumn (think homecoming) and cooler weather is also nice to have.

If you want to go with tee-shirt wear - for really casual events - then again keep it simple yet elegant.

Regardless of your choice, keep it simple. Perhaps over your heart, and not too big, your crest with your letters. And you may want to add your college name under this as well. And as suggested, stitched letters etc.

Remember, the better the quality, the more likely alumni / alumnae will be willing to invest in the shirt.

Hi, I agree LOL. I want to find something other then the big stitched letters we wore on our chest in undergrad. One of the women in my AA just ordered a T-shirt from a Greek website that said "ALUMNA" with our letters underneath. I still think that borders on college though. You know what may be cute, I have these Tommy Hilfiger baby-polo tees, something like that that says "D*Phi*E Alumna" in small writing. I like the polo shirt idea.

I was just thinking a small stitch or pic of a city skyline might be cute since your AA is for the NYC Metro Area. Big city to me = skyline!!

MY AA group is making a t-shirt for our collegiate and alumnae area to wear at Convention later this month and it has a SATC theme with a skyline on the back.

Smile

Something simple but not over stated.

Polo (Golf) shirt with the letters stitched on the left breast area.

Can be used for informal and or casual but still looks nice.

Colors of The Greek Organization with off setting letter colors.

Not a T-Shirt type myself.

Actually this reminds me of being in undergrad when we needed to think up what type of "RUSH" t-shirts we were getting. I remember it didn't go over too well when someone suggested baby-doll t-shirts because not everyone is a size 3 in undergrad, especially with all the added weight from drinking and eating late LOL.

I think I will skip my baby-polo-tee idea here too LOL.

This is going off topic but what was the most horrible rush shirt you remember having? (AND YES I KNOW THERE IS PROBABLY MOST DEFINATELY A THREAD FOR THIS SO DON'T FLAME ME!) We had one with the "Infiniti" car symbol in the front, and on the back it said "Rush D*Phi*E Infinite Possibilities". It looked cute in the book that it was ordered from but when the t's came the Infiniti symbol was about the size of a basketball on the front of the shirt. The other GLO's (and non-Greeks) made fun of us and said "Beam me up Scotty".

My fave rush t that I ruined when I got bleach on it said in the front "Cheers Delta Phi Epsilon" (with the Cheers logo from the show) and on the back it said "Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name" and it listed all of our pledge names on the back. Ah, memories..........
