I love that show!
Well, at least FX has their Ally McBeal marathons every once in a while.

In my area, Ally comes on FX every night @ 10pm. Hopefully, they'll keep re-airing these reruns and the cancellation just applies to the weekly Fox episodes.

It's probably in syndication, therefore, you will see the repeats on and off from now until doomsday.

The Sure Sign of Impending Doom...
The sure sign of impending doom on a television series seems to be when a new child character joins the cast (cases in point: Cousin Oliver on the Brady Bunch, Vicki the junior cruise director on the Love Boat). So I got suspicious when Ally had a daughter.
I haven't watched the show in a few years; could someone tell me please how it came about that Ally had a child she didn't know about? Thanks!

Ally donated some eggs to a research facility when she was 20. They were never supposed to be used for fertilization, but they were. A single father was the receipient of the child born as a result of Ally's contributuin to fertility research.
he passed away when the little girl was 10 and she went to live with her aunt. Only she wanted to know her biological mom and so went in search of Ally.

Finale
Okay, I know this thread is wayy old but they have started showing re-runs and I am trying to remember the end. I forgot that she had a daughter.
Did she end up with John?? I really wanted Billy but that didn't happen...
