I'm not sure. I'm sorta luke-warm on remakes of good movies. There must be some exceptions that I'm not remembering right now.

Yeah I'm like that too--but this movie actually looks really good. I never saw the old movie, but i know that this one has a lot of talented cameos in it.

The old one had a lot of cameos in it, too. That always makes a movie fun.

Ok so i went and saw it today...it was pretty funny. I would say that it's a good kids movie as well as adult movie. Like the kids will love it, and the college peeps like us will enjoy it as well.. One of those, but I def recommend it. Anyone going to see it tonight?

Seen it... and quite frankly it sucked. They took a good book, as well as other movies, and turned it into movie that would appeal to 13 year olds....

I never read the book, so I couldn't really compare it to anything.. I heard that they are making a sequal to this movie too. Is there more in the book, than in the movie?
