Question for the GC Boys...

When you go to the store/mall with you sig other (girlfriend/wife) do you push the cart/hold clothes for her to try on/carry the stuff through the store/carry the bags to the car....that kind of stuff....???

This past Wed. I went to the mall with my boyfriend and when going through JC Penny he starts handing me pants he wants to buy, then a shirt...meanwhile I had found ONE pair of cotton maternity pants...Than after he paid for it he just walked away, assuming I'd get the bag (which I did)....we walked through the mall and went to Sam Goody, he picked out 3 CDs, I got 1, and again, I got the bag (which I just stuck in the other, but that's besides the point). The last store we went to I found a cute skirt and bought it and grabbed the bag and started toward the car. He remarked that the bags looked heavy, and he'd help carry...so he takes the bag with just the skirt.
And then at walmart last night he bought shampoo, razors and gum...and guess who carried the isht through the store....and to the car...he DID carry it into the house (which was a good thing for him caz otherwise it'd still be in the car right now)....


My point...I think it's sweet when a guy carries my stuff for me, but I don't expect him to...BUT I definetly don't expect to carry HIS stuff.....especially when I'm pregnant with his child...I don't have any restrictions on what I can do yet, but still...

PS...it might have something to do wiuth the fact that he's Mexican...I'm still not in tune with all the cultural differences yet, but I wouldn't think this is one of them....
