Why did Kerry lie about Bush not meeting Black Caucus in the debate?
Anyone have answers?

For the same reason Bush lied and said Kerry only passed 5 bills since he's been a senator over the last 20 years, when Kerry reports actually 56 bills have been passed under his jurisdiction, with additional bills and amendments that he's authored...
They want you to hear what they want you to hear..

Can you direct me to where he said that?
And you'd think you'd want to stay on topic and answer the question.

They said it about 30-45 minutes into the debate. I remember the banter specifically around this issue, which is why it sticks into my head...

During the Vice Presidential debate, Dick Cheney referred people to a web site (although he said the site wrong) that I have found to be very helpful. It is very non-partisan. It reveals the truths behind all the ads and the debates. They haven't finished the update for last night's debate yet, but I'm sure they will.
Check it out.

I think you mean the second question.
click here for the Commission on Presidential Debates' transcripts page
i think you're embellishing your version a little bit.

I am sure the CBC themselves will either corroborate or uncorroborate the statement as soon as they can.

I forgot which local news I was watching, but I believe they said that Bush met with the Black caucus twice. The last one being on Feb. 04.
But then again, Kerry wasn't the only one lying.

I thought that Kerry said that Bush refused to meet with the NAACP (which he has). I didn't hear the reference to the CBO until Bush's rebbutal. Bush has not made an effort to reach out to African-Americans and has refused many opportunities to voice his views in a predominately African-American forum such as, when he was invited to sit down with Ed Gordon on BET

Bush met with the Congressional Black Caucus at least two times publicly and he has also met with the Urban League.
Kerry was a lead sponsor on, I believe, 8 bills that passed congress in his career: "Five ceremonial bills, two related to fishing and marine research, and one offering grants to small businesses owned by women."

Yes nobody denies the NAACP. Given that the NAACP has taken a position in this election already and has made political statements strongly against Bush, it has pushed itself into partisanship. BET? I think the CBC and the Urban League are much more worthy than BET, the media station with great programs like shine.bet.com and rather racy videos.
