How often do you go shopping and what was the last thing you bought?
I went to the mall last night. I spent a gift certificate from H&M I got for graduation. I got 2 tank tops and a black hand-bag there since my favorite black Guess hand bag has some kind of white mark on it.
I also bought 2 pairs of comfy capri athletic pants in Express (one in lime green, one in a hot-pink fuschia color) Ladies, the whole store is on sale right now, you can get lots of stuff starting at $10.00!!!
I also got two pairs of sandals and more lotion and body spray at Bath & Body Works. I go shopping at least once a week

I admittedly don't go shopping as much as I'd like. I haven't done "serious" shopping since March, and even then only bought a few things, and they were from Old Navy and Target. Typically when I go shopping I go to Banana Republic, Gap, Old Navy, Target, or Ann Taylor. I look forward to the day when I can go shopping now and then and not panic about being able to pay my bills.

Well, since my mother felt sorry for me this week for being poor, she gave me her credit card to go shopping. So....last time I went shopping was June 1st. Bought a super cute bikini w/a matching wrap and 3 pairs of really cute flip-flops.
I normally go shopping every 2 weeks, but it really depends on my cash flow at the time.

I always buy so many clothes and then don't have time to wear them all. That's my problem. Has anyone ever moved and said "I swear, I never need to buy clothes again" because most of the stuff you have to move is clothing. Then of course, we never follow that statement.

I don't go shopping as much I would like either because I've got to be able to pay the bills.
I did go shopping while I was in Washington, DC last weekend and got a cute pair of heels from Steve Madden in Gtown.

About 2 weeks ago, I went shopping while I was at home in FL. Brooks Brothers was having a sale, so I grabbed a pink polo dress, 2 3/4 length t-shirts, capris from the Gap, a few twinsets from Ann Taylor, a 3/4 length pink blouse and some pink sandals with kitten heels.
I will not buy any more clothes until I figure out what I'm going to do with the trunk full of clothes that I HATE. They're in excellent condition, but I don't know where to donate them. Any ideas?

Hey Munchkin. Try checking out some social service agencies in your area that have group homes and mental health residences. These clients are on very limited incomes and usually don't have much money to buy quality clothing items. In the residence I work in especially it is difficult for clients who are heavy. I have some family members who wear big size clothing and each season they clean out their closet and give the items to me to bring to work. If you did this you would know your stuff is actually going to people who need it and it won't be thrown out.

I live in NYC, but I'm not big. I can just call Catholic Charities or a church and they can take them?

I went ot Best Buy yesterday -- received a $50 gift cert for my bday. My mistake was taking the GF with me. I couldn't find anything. We're getting a new apartment in August, so I figured I'd just wait and put the $ towards a toaster oven or something like that.

Hey, if anyone wears large size clothing they can be put to good use in many agencies. I work in an agency in NYC, Jamaica to be exact iin Queens. We certainly take donations if you would like to give them to us

Oh man. This is a bad habit to talk about, my husband hates how I shop, but honestly I go shopping everyday. If I dont go to the mall I am either at Walmart or Target or even the grocery store but everyday I am out shopping. Its a bad habit I know but I cant break of it.
I was out this morning at Walmart. I didnt get anything too exciting. We got a few DVDs, some cereal, a bunch of lawn stuff (I am redoing our landscaping outside), some moisturizer, and a few magazines. Nothing too special lol....
