The WHA

Rumor has it that the NHL will have a lockout next season.
So in comes the World Hockey Association (WHA).
The WHA is set to start it's inagural season next year with 8 teams and a 10 million dollar per team salary cap.
So hockey fans. Do you think it will last or will it eventally be absorbed by the NHL like the Western Hockey League (WHL) was? Will it appeal to big name players, who will obviously be making less money if they move over to the WHA? Or will it be just another minor league like the AHL or IHL?

What are your thought?

There will a press conference tomorrow in Toronto announcing the WHA.
Here is their website.
