Allah Alhambra Sadr
Or what ever this duds name is.
He was interviewed by and televised by a reputual Correspondent of a National Media Company.
This guy is an idiot who beleives in Idioticy.
He can hardly look his interviewer in the eye.
News is gas.
What do you drive?
Where are you going this summer?
Do you try and conserve?
OKAY, two questions at one post. Figure it out and where it connects!

It's Muqtada al-Sadr. His dad was whacked by Saddam for instigating a Shi'a uprising at the end of Gulf War I.
In other cultures, prolonged eye contact could be interpreted as a challenge to a fight. However, this hotheaded Koran-thumper believes in his own press releases and ignorance to agitate his followers from the bully pulpit.

Koran-thumper...that's catchy!
It also depends on whether or not the interviewer is a female. Many Arab men (religious or not) will not look a female in the face because it's sort of viewed as brazen. (Hey I'm not agreeing, just reporting.) If the interviewer was a male, however, then surprise surprise this guy is a total nut job.

The interviewer was one of the men from 60 Minutes, if Tom is talking about the same interview I saw.

Not very nice at all. Please understand that Islam is a religion of peace. Equating negative behavior to the Koran is like equating the actions of the KKK with the Bible.

On the above, I agree with you. Islam is a religion of peace. My referring to Muqtada al-Sadr as a 'Koran-thumper' was because of his fiery and extremely strict interpretation of the Koran and Sharia (Islamic law), not as a general condemnation of Islam.

I swear, one day I will learn to read!!! I saw "Korean-thumper" when I first read AlphaSigOU's post and I sat here and thought:
"WTH do the Koreans have to do with this???"
I think I'd better lie down and put a cold cloth on my head.
