Family Traditions
What are some Family Traditions at different chapters?
Do you have nicknames and prints?
It is so hard to pick just one thing that will continue on for years. My twin and I are meeting in a few days to narrow down our list of prints. Does anyone have any ideas of wear to look for different prints.
Thanks
Lost newbie.

We passed down a teddy bear that has a lavelier around it's neck. The youngest in the family gets to wear the lavelier until she gets a little. i don't know how you would do that with twins, but it was one of our family things.
I know some chapters make family letters or have family t-shirts or jackets.

I was part of an AXD colony too, and my twin and I each took one of the bears that was used for decorations at our installation celebration. We gave them our own special touches, and then we passed it down. TedXi (that was my bear's name) now is decorated with special touches from my entire family tree.

In our entire house every family has a name. Something fun. From there every family has cute little tradtions. We all give our littles bears of there own at reavealing. Personally my family is the Lucky Mafia. We give the lucky care bear to our littles. Other famlies in our house have different little things. Ladybug family getting little ladybug things for the bears to hold or wear. Anyway family is huge in our chapter and i really think it is that way do to the little things that seperate us; the names and traditions.

My family Traditions
My family is the Star Family. We also have the Rose, Sunflower, and Plad Families. Some of the traditions we have is making a family tree, giving our littles their first pair of stitches with the family pattern, pillow cases, family dinners or sleep overs.

I'm in the Star family too! We've just had family dinners so far. And, of course, matching T-shirts!

As colony members, the way my twin and I decided to do our family tshirts was to pick out a design (we got a bed sheet from LNT so that we can pass the material down through the generations) and her familyline has a red background to the pattern and my familyline has a yellow background to the pattern. That way, it shows that we're all the same family, but it shows the distinction between the two of us.
