15-Year-Old Girl Leads Police On 100-Plus MPH Chase

A 15-year-old girl led police on a chase at speeds up to 105 mph before the vehicle flipped and slammed into a pool near Utah's Great Salt Lake, according to a Local 6 News report.

Police said the chase started Wednesday near Wendover, Nev., and continued in to Utah on Interstate 80.

Police said even though the car ran over road spikes and three of the tires were pierced, the chase did not end until the car hit the lake three miles later.

The girl and two passengers -- ages 17 and 21 -- survived the crash and were taken into custody.

Yeah, thats why in some states high speed pursuits are against the law.

These yahoos could have precipitated a situation that resulted in multiple deaths.

By yahoos I mean the police.

Although in this case, having the car flip was probably punishment enough.

maybe not, because alot of parents these days probably will buy their little girl a new car and proceed to complain to the law that she's just acting out and misunderstood.

That's ridiculous! Unfortunately, you know these parents are not going to do anything to these kids... "oh my poor baby went through enough, those mean ole police scared her..." Whatever! She never deserves to look at another car, let alone drive another one, EVER!

I'm just glad no one was hurt.
