New alumnae group Lake County, IL
Last evening was the first meeting of a new Alpha Gam alumnae group in northern Lake County, IL. Six of us met at TGIFriday's in Gurnee. Good calories, good conversation.
IHQ sent the convenor mailing lists sorted by name, by chapter, by zipcode. There are over 400 alumnae in this part of the state. I found out that the wife of the guy who invited me to Rotary is an Alpha Gam!

P.S. This is an interest group. The closest bona fide alumnae club is Chicago Northwest Suburban, which is based in Arlington Hts./Mount Prospect/etc., 25-35 miles away from the target audience here.
