Ghost and haunted houses

I have a story for all of you. I believe in ghost and I do believe in houses being haunted. I lived in a haunted house and it was creepy! The house had been moved from where it was first built. They moved the house for some reason that is unknown to me. It was a very old house. They added a huge basment that had two bedrooms, bathroom, Kitchen and a family room. Which was all new. The orginal house had two floors. The top floor was the attic. The attic was the most creepy part of the house. At anytime during the day or night we could hear wispering in the walls and this happened in the living room all the time. We would turn off the tv and listen. We could only make out a few words the rest we couldn't understand. Then we began to hear footsteps up in the attic. As soon as anyone went up to check, the footsteps would stop. Things would get knock over all the time and I'm not talking little things, I'm talking whole boxs dumped out all over. Boxs pushed down the stairs. It was really creepy! Then one day I was up there looking around in the day time and I found some boards that didn't look like they belonged there. So I moved them and found that they moved very easily. Behind those boards was a small rounded door. Now I was a little scared to open the door. So I called for my dad and he came up and I showed him the door. He opened it to find a small room that was really really cold. On the back side of the door was scratch marks like someone or something was trying to get out. The door looked like it at one time had a lock on it. I have never been so scared before. After that we only lived in the house for two more months. It seemed like the noises got worse after we found the door. I could never sleep in that house either. I was always too scared. This is a true story it happened when I was still living in Washington.We only lived in that house for 10 months. So does anyone else have a scary true story to tell?
