In this thread we appreciate Gore-Tex

I love Gore-Tex and its waterproof breathable counterparts (REI Elements, Mountain Hardwear's Conduit system, etc). It's raining but my Gore-Tex running shoes will keep my feet dry as a bone. My Elements jacket will keep me dry and comfy. I can go to the store without fear of sogginess.

W.L. Gore & Associates, I salute you for your fabric innovation.

I thought Bush was from Texas and Gore was from Georgia or somewhere.

I used to sell quite a few when I was working at a Army/Navy Supply Store. that's a great product.

Gore-Tex is an essential in the PacNW, but I'm hoping that someone will make some stylish Gore-Tex outerwear. I'm tired of looking like I just came in from a fishing expedition.

I have gore-tex boot liners that I wear when skiing. Great stuff.
