New Member Period - 8 weeks
I just got back from a meeting with our chapter President and she mentioned that the New Member Period is now extended to 8 weeks.
I was just wondering everyones thoughts on that. I think that it'll be more beneficial to the NMs because they'll get to know the sisters better and also gain more information and hopefully more respect for the organization that they are becoming a member of. I know that we were the only chapter that had a 6 week NM period on our campus, everyone else was 8 or more....so it's nice to know that it doesn't seem like we're rushing our NMs to be initiated anymore.
