Patti's 1880s Settlement and other random roadside fun

OK, this thread is dedicated to Patti of Patti's 1880s Settlement somewhere in Kentucky - we on our way back to St. Louis from Nashville decided we had to stop to see what all the fuss was about. So this is a little wedding chapel/minigolf/giftshop/restaurant tourist trap off I-24. We didn't stay long - used the bathrooms and browsed the gift shop and took a brochure home and visited the shop across the street. The wedding chapel was a little scary - what do you do, get married and then go play a round of mini golf?

Seriously, the lakes in Kentucky looked really pretty.

This had to rank up there with the world's largest prairie dog in Kansas and the swimming pig and bottom-glass boat at Aquamarina Springs.
