Does Greek love last forever?

I certainly hope so...If it's a lifetime commitment, I don't see how one can stay committed to its cause without the existence of undying love in their hearts for its success. You know what I mean? I do think however that the love for it never dies, but just like love in human relationships, people start to take it for granted after a while and lose sight of its importance and value.
