Amber Alert issued for NC girl abducted Tues. morning

(Lumberton-AP) April 20, 2004 - The State Law Enforcement Division has issued an Amber Alert for a 3-year-old Robeson County, North Carolina, girl who authorities say was abducted by four men early Tuesday morning.

The sheriff's office says people should be on the lookout for Jai-Mya Lamon Glover, a black female about two feet, six inches tall and 27 pounds.

I do hope they find this girl quickly but something sounds strange. Running off with a small child, especially with no adult female with them, just doesn't make sense. I wonder where the child's father had anything to do with it? Probably not but I'm thinking out loud.

The story explains they caught some of the guys who did it (the kidnapping) too.
