I heard that Ethel was a Star. But I don't know her affiliation.

oh ok.You should do some research on that for me...US. And it aint but two affiliations in America she could have been in(that goes for the rest of them as well)...either a Prince Hall or 'Mainstream'(white) OES Chapter..and I doubt if she was from a white OES chapter... it was "hard" for a black man or women to join a Mason or OES Lodge or OES Chapter in those days.
