The misery index

After finding the misery index was working in Bush's favor, Kerry's team created a new "middle class misery index" and took out all the things that might be favorable to Bush.

This new index says that the economic times during the Carter administration were phenomenal.

LOL

So I got that email yesterday and just laughed. I really wish the Democratic party could be better at economics.

Oh yeah, the late seventies were such a *happy* time for Americans Offhand, the only thing I remember for sure as being phenomenal was the interest rate for new mortgages; around 17%

Hard to be good at economics when your platform is to loot the businesses and high wage earners to make way for bigger government.

I think you're in the wrong thread. Otherwise, those are called graphs.

I was talking about the flash movie that came with the report. I didn't notice the graph on the report until today (my bad!). I apologize for any confusion my previous post may have caused.
