Then there's the song (no clue of the name) that's like (bear with the phonetic spellings, lol, "ahmadayo, ahmadayo, bombadee aye oh.... Don't look any further, further..."
Dang, there's a Midnight Star one, too, that I can't think of.

So, what are yours? And don't act like you ain't used to be at the Rink e'ry Saturday!!

Who still goes skating? I haven't been in a few years. Everytime I go, it's like I have to regain my balance all over again. But give me a couple songs, and it's ON! LOL! I can't skate backwards, though.

Firecracker!!! I'm telling my age - because some of you were not born.....yet when that song was out!!

Our skating rink had a dance floor within the skating area and you had to get to it at your own risk - like crossing a busy highway!!!

Dude's name was The Rappin' Duke. I think the name of the song was Duh Huh, I dunno, though. You really went back with that one, lol.

The Rappin' Duke's real name is Shawn Brown.

My favorite roller rink song is "Do The Hustle" because it reminds me of the theme to the old game show "Cross-Wits"

Fly Girls and Nasty Boys are a close second.
