so this made my night:
i'm stage managing a show. tonight i wore a black shirt with my greeks embroidered on it. as i was on my way backstage, an audience member looked at me and said "alpha phi?"
i responded with "yes. and you even pronounced it right." (which is not very common that people here pronounce it right since there isnt a chapter in the area. msum had one at one point, but it hasn't been here for a while)
then he told me that he had been a bordeaux beau at msum (moorhead state).
