Attention Theta Chefs :)

Speaking of Theta's who love to cook......... FYI:

The Clearwater, FL alumnae chapter is selling cookbooks as a fundraiser. All recipes submitted are by Thetas, and all contain Pecans, hence the name of the cookbook is Passion for Pecans. There are appetizers, desserts, salads, soups, breads, and even entree's all containing pecans.

I bought this cookbook because I found it neat to have one made by Thetas. Laura Bush has even contributed a few recipes to it. I even brought it with me to the hospital one day and some of the ladies I work with enjoyed it so much, they made copies of the order form in the back to get their own.

Information about ordering these cookbooks are on the Theta HQ website in the passworded Theta's Online section in Theta Discussion Area.

I'll also use this thread to give the recipe for Theta Mix(they love this at the hospital too):

One pound bag of Honey Roasted Peanuts
One bag of Candy Corn
One bag (the larger bags not the snack sized one) of plain m&m's

Mix the three ingredients together and serve. A handful of Theta mix tastes like a snickers candy bar!

Some chapters use this during rush to explain how we are; some of us are nutty(peanuts), some of us are corny(candy corn), and some of us are sweet(m&m's), but together we make a great mix.
