Vegas

So me and some friends are plannig a trip to Vegas for the weekend and I have a question. It's not Spring Break for us cause we are all done now, but we are looking to go either Easter weekend or the following weekend (16th to the 18th).

I know there are people on here that live there, so my question is, how dead is Easter weekend? and the next question is.. what the heck is going on in Vegas the 16th to the 18th, hotel prices are worse than they were for New years!

What weekend would you choose?

Thanks!

Easter weekend is usually quite busy in Vegas, with many people driving in from California for the weekend. I'd recommend the weekend following Easter, and check www.vegas.com for the upcoming convention calendar - a big convention will send hotel rates through the roof.

Most of the happening clubs in Vegas are:

Studio 54 at the MGM Grand
RA at the Luxor
Rumjungle and Red Square at Mandalay Bay
One at the Rio and at The Palms (whose names escape me at the moment).

The Shark Club (or whatever it's called nowadays) on Harmon east of the Strip.

You are SO fired!
Vegas is one of my favorite places. Some times of the year are slower than others but it is never dead in Vegas!
