Tenn. County Wants to Charge Homosexuals

Tenn. County Wants to Charge Homosexuals

DAYTON, Tenn. - The county that was the site of the Scopes "Monkey Trial" over the teaching of evolution is asking lawmakers to amend state law so the county can charge homosexuals with crimes against nature.

The Rhea County commissioners approved the request 8-0 Tuesday.

Commissioner J.C. Fugate, who introduced the measure, also asked the county attorney to find a way to enact an ordinance banning homosexuals from living in the county.

"We need to keep them out of here," Fugate said.

Wow

Although, I don't know why homosexuals would want to live in a place with such hateful people.

Crimes against NATURE??!! You have got to be kidding. Can't you just see the prosecution of this as a crime. The defense will eat this up (pardon the visual image .

Homosexuality is so prevalent in the animal kingdom that it makes this premise laughable.

What are they thinking?

Wow.

Morons.

Of course they could just be doing this so they can get tourism revenue and that economic boom always associated with media campouts.

I'm not sure that I should give them that much credit though.

I thought that this thread was about a new tax. Like the county was going to charge homosexuals $50/year for being gay. Does anyone know if the county accepts the Discover card?

Yeah right, or driving an SUV? Or not recycling?

Oh wait, they're probably not so concerned about actual nature are they. Add Tennessee to the list of places I will never go.

How in the world are you going to ban someone from living in your county just because they are homosexual? They really need to get life.
