My Rush Thread

After much thought and procrastination, I have finally done it. I am currently going through an informal rush at MTSU. I had thought about joining a sorority since I started school here but always thought I was too busy. I am studying athletic training and we are required to put in so many hours per semester in the training room or with a sports team. I also work full time. I just didn't see how I could squeeze anything else in. Yet, I talked to some girls and there are a lot of girls here just like me. I just didn't know that.

Anyway, I am nervous about rush but I am also very excited. I love meeting new people and I have had so much fun so far. I am supposed to find out sometime in the upcoming week on rather or not I will be in. So, GOOD LUCK TO ME. :-)

Best of luck to you! Years from now, you won't regret doing one more activity, but judging by some of the AI threads, you may regret not joining a sorority. Keep an open mind, be yourself, and have fun.

How many groups are there? Of these how many are going through informal?

MTSU has: ZTA, ChiO, KD, AXO, DZ, ADPi, AOII and Phi Chi.

I know ZTA made quota in the fall. I believe that there was only one group that didn't make quota of the NPC groups. I had been told they weren't planning to COB. But, I am always glad when someone potentially finds a Greek home. (And, of course, there may be some groups with wiggle room due to graduation.) So, good luck!
