Figured with the new polls out that I'd start a thread about college basketball.
My boys at UConn are ranked Preseason #1 - hoping this year Taliek Brown finally comes of age, Ben Gordon can shoot the lights out, Emeka Okafer has a great year, and Charlie Villanueva has one hell of a freshman season.

Team's loaded, I'd love to see them go all the way.

(I may Boston U. diplomas, but I've been a Huskies fan since the days of Chris Smith and Nadev Henefield)

I've got my money on Duke. They've disappointed me a bunch of times like the Yankees have, but I'm not giving up. I'd also like to see a cool wild card like st. johns this year just because they're from my neighborhood growing up.

No, no, no, no Wildcats! Go CARDS! Woo-Hoo U of L is gonna kick some butt this year. And I'm hoping my school, Murray State, can make it to the big dance this year, we've got a chance with Mick Cronin as our new coach. Go Cards and Racers.

I'm thinking the Sooners are underrated at #15. We'll see though, hopefully another final four appearance!
They're usually underrated going into the season and have some excellent players.

The great unknown this year I think will be Kansas under Self, followed closely by Williams' NC team.

Theta princess, I will give you that, LOL. The Cats will be the Cards, but that's only cause we beat you all in football. As happy as I was for that win, as soon as it was over, all of my friends and sisters down here from Louisville all said, you know what that means? Cats are gonna beat us in basketball. Oh well, maybe we'll get lucky and pull off the double. Hahaha.
