I've already said I'm not too thrilled with Bush or Kerry, however:

While this kind of thing can be an effective propaganda tool, it is little more than the kind of half truths the conservative folks try to use against Kerry.

"An Army of One," is not a Bush statement, but rather the theme of the Army's TV recruitment campaign. Talk to their ad agency about it, not the President.

Some of the things quoted are not Bush quotes, and some of the programs mentioned are not his programs. Read the attribution carefully.

It's going to be a dirty campaign. People on both sides read this kind of thing, and if it roughly agrees with their ideology, they take it as fact.

It goes both ways.

Actually this is pure propoghanda. Brandon can't do any better than that so he posts this stuff. Who does this convince? It only makes anyone dead center totally support Bush.

So you know for a fact Bush has never used "an army of one" in any of his speaches? Ans yes I was aware it was the army's recruiting campaign. Anyone that has a tv should know that.

I am a fan of propaganda. Thats what political campaigns are pretty much these days. Debates they hold are probably one of the few things during a campaign that are more issues that propaganda. Besides its not worth debating the issues anymore because people pretty much have their minds up anyways. Guess I am just an poor uneducated Democrat

Nope. I've probably said it myself. However, in my opinion, this is an attempt to attribute the phrase to him. Unfair attirbution.

Propaganda with a capital P. It's the garbage like this that I just kind of skip over.

Now, it happens on both sides; I personally take as much issue with some of Cheney's recent comments as I do with Moveon.org.

Can't wait to see how dirty the campaign gets in the next couple of months.
