Skee-Wee, SORORS,
As January 15th approaches, I find myself reflecting on the beauty of our sisterhood. It brought to mind a compliment that was given to me by a soror that always makes me smile when I think about it.
One of the sorors that I went to undergrad with was the reason I became interested in Alpha Kappa Alpha in the first place. Whenever I think of AKA to this day, I think of her. As far as I was concerned, she was Miss AKA, okay? Well, at a wedding, she asked me a question, then she qualified it with, "I'm asking you because I know you are a good soror."
Hearing that come from HER made me smile the biggest smile!!! Sometimes it's the smallest things that touch us the most. It means a lot to me that she thinks I'm a good soror.
