I have received several emails promoting this movie and discussing the controversy surrounding the graphic violence and "R" rating. Is anyone else planning on going to see this movie?

I am. My mother is making me come home so all of us go together for a family trip. I don't know if I want to go see it b/c I have a hard time holding myself together with movies like this. I am of Christian faith and I know that Jesus went through a lot to save the lost, but actually seeing the graphic and dramatized version will have me in big boo-hoo tears.

One of my co-workers went last night to a special screening and said that it was really good. She is of Christian faith and she enjoyed it.

There are people making Bomb Threats to theaters that are showing the movie and that is just SAAAAAD!!

i'm going to see it on thursday. got my tickets online yesterday so me and a friend could avoid the long lines and get our seats early.
