Greetings ALL,
I am currently working as a systems man! I graduated with a degree in Economics and Public Policy with a minor in African American Studies and what I work on as a career now I was doing on the side in college just for FUN! I do get to use my Economics know how in the field I am in but the other two degrees I find to be more effective in my Alpha Life.

My degree is in Spanish and I have a minor in math. I work in telecommunications. Go figure. But I love it. Spanish is more of a hobby that comes in handy. I used it in Miami last week!

Graduated in '87 with my BS in LEA.
I'm nowhere close to working in my major.
I'm a Supervisor for CTA(Chicago Transit Authority). Pay is pretty good, but not a day goes pass that I don't wish that I was doing something else. So guess what?
After 14 years I'm finally going back to get my Masters in Ed. I know it's a lot of teachers on the list, so is it as bad as my
friends say? It'll be a drop in pay, but I want to go for it.

HA HA HA AKA2D while you got jokes....Most of the head coaches/and those in management in professional sports were PE majors. Hey I gotta start somehwere Just as long as no one calls me "GYM Teacher" (there is a difference) I will not have to do a Laila Ali up here... LOL Gotta do something about all those obese kids....They won't be that way once I get done with them...
But Ex, to answer your question yes I will be one of those people as soon as I finish grad school I don't plan on teaching long....WNBA management here I come....

Well yall. I figure you should do what's in your heart to do. I mean no matter how much money you earn or how great it sounds on your resume...You have to be happy where you're working otherwise you won't do it well.
I was originally a nursing major(major money at the time *or so I thought*)....Sistah gurl found out she faints at the sight of blood! So I switched to something I know I'm going to do better at. Nursing wasn't in my heart anyway people were trying the talk me into it. I decided to stop fooling myself ya know?!
