Big Brother to sorority

How does that work?? I know there are big brothers to some sororities...... Since we are new, it would be wonderful to have some relationships with other greeks. I know its very competitive but we are open to teach anyone ASL if they like to learn regardless if they are already greek or pleding with us...... But I am worried of their reactions/attitude. I know a lot of people do not view ASL or Deaf people highly which is unfortunate!!!

I have a big brother in Pi kappa phi and he is one of my best friends in the entire world and he just decided to take me as his little. (i also have a big sister which we call mothers and a family in my sorority) but usually- your big sister gives you a big brother. I think its amazing that you are so open and if someone doesn't want to be associated with someone with so much courage and intelligence then forget them anywya. i'm sure that a lot of guys would love to be your big brother good luck

I don't know about other chapter's policy, but Chi Omega specifically prohibits it's members from taking part in big brother/litttle sister activities. I had a little brother in one of the fraternities, but a sister of mine got in very big trouble when they found out that she was a little sis. My point is, make sure it's okay with your chapter!
