That's a daggone shame that I had to title the thread this way just to get your attention, but c'est la vie.


I have noticed in the past few weeks that folks are coming to the DST forum and NOT reading the Announcements. FYI, they will be updated soon.

Allow me to point some things out to you.


1. ALL members of GC, be you Black, White, NPHC, NPC, etc. etc., are welcome to post in the Delta forum. You are not crashing. This is BYOT. Please just remember to be courteous, respectful and mindful that we do not tolerate foul language.

2. Private Messaging: As it states in the Announcements, please do not post a reply in a thread asking to PM so and so or telling So and So to check their PM. They will check it by and by.

If you choose to e-mail someone from GC, as a courtesy, put GC in the title so that your e-mail is not deleted for SPAM.

3. SEARCHING: Lately I have had to delete a lot of threads or merge. When creating a new topic, search the D9 forums to avoid repetition. A lot of stuff has been there and done that. From now on, if a thread is found to be a duplicate, it will be deleted and you will not receive a courtesy PM stating such. Any threads questioning why your thread is missing/was deleted will also be deleted.

When it comes to searching, here are some tips:

a. You cannot search words less than 4 letters. If you want to search cat, make it cats. If you want to search DST, you won't be able to. However, sometimes if you put a * behind the 3 letter word, you will be able to.

b. If the word that you are using to search is ONLY in the title of the thread, it will not search the title of the thread. Example: I want to go to college (title) but all of the posts say school or university, do not search COLLEGE. You will not find it.
