Question The Perfect Fit

I'd post this in with the shoe thread, however I'm asking a specific question to all you shoe ladies.

I've never been a huge shoe freak because I can't find the perfect fit. I have slightly wider feet (mostly because I stand on them for 9 hours a day, 5 days a week). I need to hear from you ladies what brands are good fits, but good buys (I'd be willing to splurge $100 to $150).

SERIOUS HELP HERE GALS! I'm proposing a HUGE Public Relations package to my company next week, and want to be looking HOT! I have crappy shoes now and need my best pair of business shoes!

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

The most comfortable shoes I have ever bought are Easy Spirit. I know they tend to be stereotyped as "old women" shoes, but I have worn out every pair I have ever had. They are not super expensive, but are worth every penny you'll pay.

ETA: I have VERY wide feet and those are some of the few that fit really well!

You can get Naturalizer heels in wide widths. I believe you can also still get Franco Sartos and Enzo Angiolini in wide in selected widths as well.

I wear Easy Spirit for my teaching shoes and my feet NEVER hurt. When I worked retail and stood up all day, my feet KILLED until I got Easy Spirit loafers. They don't all look frumpy. They come in lots of styles and I am just now retiring a pair that I have worn about every other day to work since I started student teaching and then teaching (that was 2 years ago that I bought them!) They are very comfortable, flexible and light, so you don't feel like you are clunking around!

Hootie, is that shoe you posted the picture of from Easy Spirit or Naturalizer? If so, I didn't realize they made such attractive shoes! Very nice

That one is an Easy Spirit. They've gotten a lot better but I will always think of the bunion ladies at Boston Store.

That's what I always thought of! But oh well. It IS a cute shoe. I'll just tell people they're something else (what I dunno).

Another cute shoe place was Aerosoles but I think they went out of business (at least their store shut down here in my town).

It really is cute for business. I have a few pairs of Naturalizer heels. I've also found that if I buy Nine West a half-size big it works for the width of my foot.

ETA: I forgot to say Aerosoles isn't a very high quality brand - they're kind of disposable.
