Makes you appreciate velcro

Hey all-
So I had to share this and I'm going to be descrete as possible. Anyone who really is a Tri Delt will know what I'm talking about.

So, at our last alumnae chapter meeting, we started to talk about our ritual. We have a much older lady in our group- because a lady never reveals her age, we aren't quite sure. But she mentioned once she was initiated in the early 1940's. Anyway- ya know the stuff we set up for ritual with velcro on it? Big pain in the butt to set up? Well, she was in Tri Delta before the wonderful invention of Velcro and they had to PIN it all or SEW it up!!!!

Can you imagine having to set up AND sew everything??!!

wow, that would really really suck. i have a new appreciation for velcro too.

My chapter still has to pin it up! I swear our ritual equipment has not been updated since we were installed in 1911!

Would you think I was crazy if I told you that we didn't use velcro either?

To those of you with sans-velcro equipment:

I'M SO SORRY!!!
you people without velcro don't know what you are missing!!!
Its a pain with the velcro, I can't imagine it without velcro.

Sorry for crashing, especially in such a thread, but we have something that uses velcro, too. I've often wondered what they used back 150 years ago - snaps?

We had the velcro, too. I can't imagine not having velcro!
