Isn't it this type of thread that lead to the drama that was Gamma Chi ?? Ne way...

Letters... xi theta Chi

Colors: Teal Green (for immortality) and purple (for service/compassion) The ideas behind the colors came from my Int'l Order of Rainbow for Girls ritual =)

Symbol: Stars because all members should be striving toward the "stars" and becuase it's a personal favorite symbol of mine, and because my sorority family the "Stellar Mafia" uses stars to decorate our gifts to our littles and such. And just as each star has individuality, so does each member and each chapter... BUT they come together to form a beautiful universe, cheesy I know.. but it's true =)

Mascot: White Tiger: Tigers are strong and go after what they want ... and white ones are just that much cooler hehe

Flower: Purple Tulips a perfect blending of green and purple

Stone: Emerald

Motto: I can't think of any nifty way to say it.. but something about being there for each other, and serving others...

Philanthropy: Any organization that helps to educate and help teens with eating disorders... becaue I've had my own battles with this and I really think that our society has become obesessed with image and eating disorders are a pruduct of that obsession...

Sigma Delta

Name: Sigma Delta SD
Sigma to represent sisterhood and it's the 18th letter in the Greek alphabet, which is lucky in Judaism because it represents life. Delta because in math the letter Delta is used to represent change. Here it's used to show the change and impact that your sisters have on your life.
Colors: Dark blue and Turquoise
Symbol: Lighthouse
The lighthouse guides sailors at night and in storms. In the same way, your sisters are there for you and guide you through your darkest hours.
Mascot: Starfish
Starfish have the ability to regenerate themselves.
Philanthropy: none that's official, leave it up to members to decide what they wanna do, so that way they can pick projects that have more of a meaning
Jewel: Pearl
Pearls start out as a single grain of sand inside an oyster and grow to develop into their "final product." In this way, sisters grow and learn from one another to develop into what they will become.
Open Motto: Love, Loyalty, Trust
Flower: Yellow rose to represent friendship. Evergreen tree because sisterhood is unfading and permanent, like the needles on an evergreen tree.
