Bush in 30 Seconds

The Bush-ites have been pretty quiet on GC lately, so I thought I'd give you something to flex those muscles of moral indignation/lefty hatred :

The finalists in the political ad contest have been announced, and the winner will be revealed in New York on January 12. To find out more about the reasons behind the contest, see http://www.bushin30seconds.org/aboutus.html .

some of the ads were lame, but most were really really well done. my favorite one was the one with the kids who were going to be the next president - interesting link, thanks!

The commericals are pretty good. I can see why the Hitler one was pretty bad, good thing it didn't make the cut. I see every republicans fav person is one of the judges that will vote on the winning video that will air on tv across the country. Michael Moore is one of the judges, that made me laugh when I first saw that. The rest of the judges are random. Margret Cho, Jack Black? Strange.

Jack Black is a bit of a strange addition, but Margaret Cho makes sense. She makes some of the most pointed political commentary in her humor that I've heard in a great while.

And here's another (and admittedly very lefty) opinion on the Hitler ads: http://www.counterpunch.org/lindorff01062004.html

I watched Hannity and Colmes last night and they were talking about these ads. They had a few guests defending and targeting their creators. Basically, I think they are a joke, but some are pretty creative. Anything affiliated by Michael Moore is null and void in my book, what a clown. They should've left his sorry a$$ out of the judge pool.
