steve irwin

i dont have the link with me, but i am sure most of you know about it. he is in trouble because he 'put his baby in danger' by holding him near the crocodile. kind of being looked at like michael jackson and his baby dangling incident.
i dont know about you guys, but i am on steve side. sure he made a mistake but he knows the crocodile better than anyone. i am sure what he did wasnt intentional. it is just hard to convince the people/activists. steve is in a much better mental state as michael. i am sure he knew what he was doing.

I agree with you. I saw the video and he had a good hold on the baby. I also saw an interview with him where he said that since they live in crocodile country, his kids need to learn how to handle them. I'm not sure about that comment.. 1 month old is a little young to learn much of anything!

I'm siding with Steve too. He wouldn't have brought his baby into the pin if he couldn't handle the crocodile. In any case, I doubt he'll be doing that again.

I'm going to have to diagree. I'm glad nothing happened, but I think Steve could have gone about teaching his son in a better way. At least wait until he's older. Steve may be an experienced crocodile handler, but the croc is still a wild animal and something could have gone wrong. How many times has Steve been bitten or slashed while doing his job?

You really shouldn't tease a poor croc like that.
