No frills rush

After reading a post in another thread, I thought I'd start this one. I apologize if there has been another thread on this in the past but I'm lazy and dont want to sift through all the threads.


I'd like to see rush at a school that was strict with no frills rushing. My alma mater where I became Theta had one day that was skit day. The other school I was at prior where I went through rush and quit after the first day because I didnt feel like it was for me at that school had a skit thing every day of rush, but I was told the third round parties had the longest skits. i dont know if they still do that though.

Is no frills a common thing? I know it's supposed to be strongly encouraged, but is it really being strongly encouraged across the board? Or is it being delibrately ignored if you will on some campuses.........This question has actually come up before on another board I frequent without any answers given. So I'm curious to know myself.
