Delta Gamma Rocks the World....Why? Here are some reasons.....
- Delta Gamma's are we, and we rock, so therefore, by the law of syllagism *if a=b and b=c, then a=c* (spelling?) Delta Gamma Rocks
- We have a horrendously cute mascot.....how much better can you get than Hannah?
- Cream colored Rose....elegant yet simple
- Service for sight rocks my world.....
ALSO, at IPFW, we have created a tradition that hopefully will last throughout the ages!!! Being a commuter campus, we've had kind of a stinky campus life area....no one really cared for a long time, but we've just recently started having a Homecoming (it's basketball and not football, but who cares). Having homecoming, we've also had a Homecoming Court. Three years of Homecomings, three Homecoming queen, Three DG women! Last night, the tradition continued as Jill Carie continued the Delta Gamma tradition of reigning Homecoming queen. The first year, Lindsay Ostman competed not only against a woman from Pi Beta Phi, and a number of GDI's, but against another sister as well, but came out the queen at the end of the night. Last year, Kristen Brockhaus ran uncontested as far as representing the Greek System and blew them out of the water. No one stood a chance. This year, Jill Carie ran against another member of the Pi Beta Phi fraternity and a former DG new member, as well as one GDI and, at the end of the night, was being crowned by her roommate, sister and best friend, last year's queen, Kristen. Jill's boyfriend, a member of Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity was last years reigning Homecoming King and crowned this years King, A member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. They announced the Queen first, and there was such an uproar of screams, cheers and whistles from the DG section they actually had to wait til we calmed down to announce the King. Being a smaller chapter, there were about 10 people in our section, and in the coliseum filled a couple of THOUSAND people, we were loud enough that they had to wait for us to calm down....Year after year after year, the DG's step up to the plate and blow the competition out of the water.
GO Delta Gamma!!!
