President Bush's war on the environment by RFK Jr.

The story is in the latest issue of Rolling Stone. Sorry for the long read.

I'm not a huge environmentalist or anything, but as I read this article I seriously got sick to my stomach. This was even as I already knew that Bush was attacking the environment at unprecedented levels.

This thread is not meant to be an attack Bush simply because he is president and it's the trendy thing to do, but rather to raise awareness amongst everyone on an issue that affects EVERYONE. No matter your political affiliation or opinion of President Bush, it is important that everyone realizes what is going on and what it means for the health of our country, and our world.

This is even irrelevant in terms of global warming, which conservatives don't believe in. Far more objective determinants of pollution are showcasing just how much trouble our environment is in with George W. Bush in office.
