Hello Ladies. Before I say anything, I just want to say that I always enjoy reading your forum. Yall have some funny and interesting things to talk about ..ok.
Around a month ago me, my cousins and their sorors(chapter x) went to a probate show. As soon as the show was over, they went over to congr. there new sorors on becoming apart of thier wonderful sorority. But instead of trying to talk to them, the girls(lets call them chapter y) took of running. They refused to talk to chapter x or acknowledge their being there. Feeling hurt and confused, we all left. Well come to find out we went to a party and saw chapter y there. Well i had a feeling something was about to go down so I excused myself, and went to get some punch. Yall before I knew it chapter x was fighting and tearing off letters, jackets,ripping off pins,necklaces and ANYTHING pertaing to the sorority. I WAS SHOCKED. Well needless to say I tried to break it up but not before I heard that famous word*Paper*. Now, that i have explained how the fight occured, let me tell u why the fight occured.
The new girls didn't know any struts, chants,calls or anything. So chapter x told the girls to name their ls;chaper y couldn't. Chapter x asked the girls what their line names were;chapter y didn't have any. Chapter x ask the girls who were their big sistas,chapter y couldn't name all of them. Finally the big one question that started WWIII.. Name the founders of SSS sorority; Chapter Y didn't know them. When I say MAD I mean MAD..Chapter X(my cousin and sorors) went CRAZY. I have never seen them so angry.

Now, the question I have for you is Do u feel that this sitution could have been handled different. I say it could have but then again I'm not greek. Chapter X wants to blame the girls but I think that its kind of their big sistas fault for not teaching them anything. But chapter x said that even if that is true, they should have took it upon themselves to learn as much info as you can. I tried to say my little piece but they were like*and i quote*( WHEN U WORK AS HARD AS WE DID TO EARN THESE WONDERFUL LETTERS, WE ARE NOT GOING TO LET PAPER ASS GIRLS WALK AROUND HERE WITH MY LETTERS ON NOT KNOWING A DAMN THING. THAT IS INSULTING TO ME, MY FOUNDERS AND MY SORORITY. NOW WHEN U BECOME GREEK U WILL UNDERSTAND BUT UNTIL THEN U HAVE NO IDEA) was I wrong?
