Is communication the key?
Have you guys ever been in a relationship where in the beginning everything was just like something out of a storybook, then later it turned into something out of a horror movie?
How do you break the same ol' dull cycle of what goes on day to day in your relationships?

I'd say communication is key, but also to find somethings that you two have in common (thisis hypothetical because I realize that this thread may not pertain to you). Extracurricular activities, intellectual activities, something besides the romantic things (i.e. exsay, hugging, kissing, etc).
Also, I would say to KNOW that the romantic intimacy that usually is what makes the relationship SEEM like a storybook in the beginning, IS going to die. After 3 or 4 years, the novelty and excitement IS going to wear off...point, blank. There had better be something else there or else there will be a slow deterioration.
Let me think of some more and I'll be back.

No...... LOL!!! All my relationships have started out nightmares (just kidding). Girl of course the beginning is so fun, exciting, etc then reality sets in. The key to making a relationship last is either your in it 100% or not. I used to think that if I let my boyfriend get away with anything and not say something, I was a weak women. I figured out that everything isn't WWIII and that I loved him enough to deal with his little imperfections (I'm not talking about cheating, beating, drinking anything on that scale) and make the best of them because I love him that much. Eventaully over my six years with him he mad the same decison. I'm a control freak and he knows that, but he makes the decison to handle that because he loves me. Try something exciting to do, take a trip or rent a room girl do something fun!!!
