Phi Mu committment?
I saw a listing on Ebay for the "Phi Mu Committment," framed up nicely. The picture was from far away but looked different from our creed.
Anyone know what that is?

I just dug this old post up randomly, and I figured since no one else had posted the commitment, I would... so here it is. : )

Phi Mu -- A Commitment
We believe that an educated and well informed person contributes and receives greater value from membership in Phi Mu and preparation for life and declare the following Fraternity Policy:
Scholarship shall be a chapter emphasis especially in pledging women desirous of achieving an acceptable record. Attention to a conducive academic environment and sensible scheduling of activities will be a chapter priority.
Fraternity education shall be valued, beginning with provisional membership and emphasis on the Creed, the ritual, panhellenic and local and national history and policies.
Throughout our history, Phi Mus have strived to attain the goal of Ideal Womanhood. Today Phi Mu encourages personal development and mature behavior through chapter development programs. The goal must continue to be a revered and respected aim for all members.
Our Ritual is the Bond representing generations of commitments and ideals. It is to be emphasized and understood as necessary for Phi Mu to be all it can be. Our Ritual holds a heritage of values which has made Phi Mu what it is today, for while Phi Mu has a timeless future, we are here only for today.

Liz, thank you -- it's beautiful. Where'd you find it?
What's the KLTC in your signature stand for?

No problem! My mom actually gave it to me, along with a copy of "What Is a Phi Mu?" (I can post that, too, if you want) and a frameable copy of the Creed.
As Pam said, KLTC means 'Keep Living The Creed.'

What Is a Phi Mu?
WHAT IS A PHI MU?
A Phi Mu is a girl who has moonglow in her hair, stardust in her eyes, and heaven in her smile.
Her impish grin is sunshine on a cloudy day.
Its warmth is a caress which peeps through your troubles and quickly dries your tears.
She is a girl in a pink lace dress who looks for all the world like a princess -- in spite of the freckles on her nose.
She is beauty sitting cross-legged in bermuda shorts -- giving motherly advice.
She is sister, mother, and friend -- all rolled into one.
She can be playful, coy, and even mischievous.
She has the power to lift your hopes with one glace, one twinkle of those laughing eyes.
When she smiles, she brings courage and hope to your heart.
Laughter precedes her; happiness walks with her; peace follows her.
She means everything to me -- she is my Phi Mu girl.

The executive office sells prints of the creed and "what is a Phi Mu?" suitable for framing. They probably sell the commitment one also.
