Ok, I know yall watched the awards. Am I the only person who thought it was way beyond boring??? Ok, here's what I thought throughout the show.

1) Why did JLo lip sync her show? I was slightly disappointed in her performance. I expected so much more. I guess she's no Janet yet.

2) What was the pants suit Toni Braxton had on??? Not cute. Now, I'm probably biased because I am a Toni fan, but I was so happy that she still performed, even with a bumb knee, or whatever. I think that if her leg had not been hurt, she would have had the best performance. And I'm glad she went back to her short hair cut!!!!

3) Did anyone peep how Janet was looking at Shaq? He did look good!!! Whew!

4) Was LL really jocking Brittney, or was that part of the show? For real?

5) I expected much more from Ricky Martin. I did like the song, it was soothing. But I didn't expect soothing from Ricky, I expected energy.

6) Can you believe that they let Kelly of Destiny's Child speak??? At the beginning of the show when they got that award, she did all the talking, not a single word from Beyonce. I was impressed and shocked, to say the least. PR move?

7) I think my favorite part of the show was the little boy that was a country singer, when he accepted his award and said that he never dreamt that this would happen in "a million trillion years!" I love kids!!!!

And did yall know that if you perform at the AMA that you can't perform at the Grammy's?

So, what did yall like, dislike, expect, etc. from the American Music Awards?

I watched the show. Here are my thoughts:

1. What was up with Janet Jackson's hair?! She reminded me of Diana Ross.

2. I like Toni Braxton as well. I'm glad to see her back to the short hair cut as well.

3. How old is Britney Spears?!!!!! She left very little to the imagination with the clothes she wore.

4. Why was LL Cool J shouting?

5. At least Jennifer Lopez covered up a little bit more this time around.

6. Has Ricky Martin's star dimmed a bit? What a difference a year makes!

7. What hole did Pink crawl out of out? Sorry. I'm NOT a fan.

8. Did y'all catch Sisqo's glide onto the stage? LOL! I wonder what color his hair was underneath.

9. If Destiny's Child wanted to show unity, they should have let Michelle speak. I guess that was asking too much, huh? But Beyonce did hold onto the award.

I think she's 20 now. I think she's trying (a little too hard) to show that she's not a little girl any more. Her song that she sang is definitely not Bubble-Gum-Pop music, that's for sure.

I think so. Kelly just started talking (this is the 3rd time I've heard her speak). Give Michelle about a year (if she lasts), then they'll let her talk, too.

Can yall tell I'm bored at work?? Entirely too much time on my hands today!

I'm usually not a fan of awards shows I find them boring, but I did catch a couple glimpses of the awards last nite.

1) Why did Sisqo come out looking like he just left his house and forgot to get dressed? What was up with the "doo rag?" Oh, and I did see the little glide he did.

2) LL is fine But was he really jocking Britney?

3) Speaking of Britney isn't she like 16 years old? Why was she next to naked?

4) I liked Toni's pants suit. But, how come no one helped her up on stage to accept her award?

5) I am not a big fan of Outkast..so I wasn't too thrilled about their performance.

Okay, I saw the awards and here's what I thought.


1. Janet aka Miss Jackson if you're nasty, is my future wife so I only have good things to say about her. I mean for awhile I was getting tired of seeing her in the black so she switched it up for me last night. DAYUM, she looked fine.

2. I like Outkast, so I liked their performance. They always try and give you something different or unexpected.

3. For the first time I actually liked a Brittany Spears performance. I wasn't feeling the men's briefs though. And she's 19 now, LEGAL!!!

4. I wasn't thrilled with JLO's performance either, but she still looked fine doing it.

5. No I don't like LL, or do I think that he's the Greatest of All Time

6. Yes, it was very boring

7. And for Ricky Martin, let's just say he's had his 15 minutes of flame. Yes I meant flame, not fame!

OK. I had my TV on the channel, but I was doing other things, so I caught bits and pieces. Yes, the show was B-O-R-I-N-G!

1)I don't know what Janet had going on with her hair, but I'm sure paid a lot for it. I just wished those fans would have been quiet when she gave her acceptance speech. How rude!

2)I thought Michelle spoke, but then I think they were presenting an award. I didn't know they won an award, I was hoping that the Latavia and Latoya would show up? (Don't you think that would be a good Celebrity Deathmatch fight?)

3)LL can shout all he wants with his sexy lips.

4)I'm not a fan of Pink, but how is she R&B?

5) I think Brittany is trying to hard to be grown? Slow down girl! I heard that she was going to do a duet with Madonna. That'll make her grow up real quick.

6) Was it me or did Toni Braxton look sick? I know she wasn't Pocahontas last night, but she looks like she's lost weight.

Yeah, what I saw of the show it was boring, I had to turn something else to keep my
attention.

1) I love Outkast too, but what da hell did Dre have on his back? It looked like one of
those vacuum cleaners that the cleaning people in my office wear after hours. I am just
glad that he didn't have his hair all long.

2) I think that it would be a good death match between the 3 old Destiny's bad azz kids,
and the current D. bad azz kids.

"The hair that's on my head, I bought it!"

3) Just what America needs, another lilly white boy band "O Town." These groups are
loved by pre-pubescent girls, and gay men.

4) LL should just ask Brittany for some, don't play yourself on national wide television.
She'd probably oblige, since Justin Timberlake looks like he aint handling business.

5) I don't care if Jen Lopez came out in a burlap sack, with a matching hood, she still is
sexy, and can be my baby moma anytime.

6) Ricky Who? I think that Chris Rock had it right, "Ricky needs a hit, like a crack addict
needs some rock!"

I thought Janet looked FIERCE, hair and all.

I am mad that no one helped Toni Braxton on stage until the LAST POSSIBLE SECOND, I think it was Mystikal.

I agree that to show true unity, D's Child should have allowed Michelle to speak (has anyone read the Vibe article on them since we're on the topic? Hmph!!)

Britney PSears dresses a little too old for her age, despite the fact that she's NOW 19. She's been doing it since day one.

Sisqo did look like he had been smoking crack the night before.

I have to get to Starbucks..more lata!

Ah ha! Thanks, I'm too young to be out of the loop I only caught a part of her performance from flipping channels. Was she supposed to be a sailor or pirate. I saw a red and white stripped shirt.
