Needed: Plaid Skirt
Anybody know of any stores that have plaid skirts (short) in right now?
Nothing like throwing together your costume last minute!

I haven't seen any plaid skirts in the major department stores, but I'm sure you'll find a ton of them at the used goods stores -- Goodwill, Savers, Salvation Army. I've created many costumes because of them.
Dani, if you had contacted me earlier, I coulda shipped my old naughty Catholic school girl costume to you! That's always a crowd pleaser.

If you have an adult store near you, they usually have naughty school girl outfits for fetish costumes. A few of my friends bought their Halloween costumes from adult stores since the costumes are sexier and shorter.

I just went there, they had a few skirts, but they were only in L and XL- the L was at least 5 inches too big in the waist! I think i'll use that as a last resort... i can always staple it or something.
Good idea about the adult store too.... but that might end up being my very last resort- going to the adult store..... would make for an interesting story though.
thanks everyone for your help!

Definally try either Wet Seal or Contempo Cusuals. I worked there last season and it was packed full with plaid skirts. I just went in one store the other day (Wet Seal) and they had a ton on sale for about 50% off. I bought one when i worked there and it was super short but cute!!
Good Luck with your costume!

I would definitely try a uniform store...otherwise I work at Limited and we have quite a few plaid kilts in right now that you might actually be able to wear again.

Thank you so much for suggesting wet seal, that's where I ended up getting it from. Ended up being on clearance for like $8. Super short, but it works for the evening!
