I got back today from Virginia, where I visited Washington and Lee, James Madison Univ. and UVA. Soooooo much fun, relaxing, did NOT want to come back home!!
At W&L we drove around and walked around a bit. Visited the new commons building and ate lunch there in the little sandwich/snack bar thing. Was completely SHOCKED they sold beer in there!!!!

On Campus!!! I leaned over to my hubby and was like...."Is that really beer over there????" Never seen that before....
We also found the SigEp house...saw 4 sorority houses (good LORD, I'm jealous!!!) and saw other fraternity houses. We drove by VMI, but didn't go on campus to look around or anything. We didn't do much else there.....
Went to JMU next.....where the hell was everybody????? It was a Friday afternoon and campus was DEAD. The band started practicing before we left though. Walked around it for a while....not much exciting to report there either....found the sorority houses on the lake (cute!) but didn't knock because it was DEAD!!!! Looked like everyone had gone home. So much for that.....
Then the next day was the UVA/FSU game. SOOOOOOO excited for that one. We had to buy our tix through FSU because we couldn't get them through UVA

but once we got there we discovered that we could sit on the grass on the end zone (which we did), thereby avoiding sitting with those Seminole fans that apparently only know one song and one direction to move their arms....

(We obviously rooted for UVA, but didn't root hard enough, I guess. They need a new punter, though. I could've kicked better than he was!!) I so need to find a friend to tailgate with in Charlottesville next time.....
That was my 4 day vacation.....just felt like sharing with someone!!! (Yeah, I know...doesn't sound like a thrilling vacation, but Mr. PsychTau and I didn't want to do all the touristy frou frou....we just wanted to do whatever....and we did.)
I did see the room where Kappa Sigma was founded on the Lawn. I think I saw their HQ sign (is it on Hwy 250/Ivy Road?) but it was dark so I wasn't sure what it was. It did say Kappa Sigma on it though.
