Heat Wave

So how are y'all across the country doing with the unusually warm weather? I live in Denver, CO and it is waaay too hot for the 3rd week of October. I want to be draggin out ski clothes but instead I'm still running around in flip flops and playing tennis everyday!

Wash your mouth out with soap! Before long, we'll be up to our A....um....ankles in snow. After a beautiful Fall like this one, we'll probably get dumped on this winter.

Don't get me wrong, I like changes in seasons, but let's keep the 30 inch snow storms in the mountains this year.

I'm too damned old to be shoveling 12 inches of "clear and mild" off of my driveway.

(about 90 in Denver today as well)

Oh my goodness! It was 90 in Denver?! That makes me glad I live up in the mountains because it stays cooler up here. I wouldn't mind some crisp 60 degree days, though.

It's been in the mid-80's for the past couple of days here in Florida. That actually is unusually warm for this time of year. The average is around 70-something for mid-October.
I guess this is a good thing considering last winter was very cold. I know everyone else was experiencing snow storms and really cold weather. It was 20-something degrees here a for a few days this past February.

I live in the Phoenix area and it is still hot in late October. It is lower triple digit temperatures the past few days. by Monday they said it is going to be in the lower 80s. I hope that it is the case. I am tired of whining about it.

I am loving this great weather! I hate snow and so any 80 degree + weather is welcomed by me because I know once it starts to snow, we'll be getting cold, snowy weather until March

SOmething is wrong when the majority of surfers are at the beach in the middle of October.
