Visiting other chapters

Hey guys. I'm a new memeber to TKE. 2nd of my class and Scroll #268 of the Omicron Nu Chapter at Florida Tech. What I was wondering was how accepting are other chapters about other Tekes visiting them? I'm from South Alabama, and aproximately an hour away from Troy, AL where the Lambda-Zeta chapter is at Troy. I was wanting to go drive over there and possibly visit and take a look at their house while I'm home on Christmas Break. Any input on this would be appreciated.

Most chapters don't mind you just showing up. Its always best to give them a call or email them before you come. You can find the chapter pres email at the tke.org chapter search part.

hey there,
i am a brother at the lambda zeta chapter at troy state, any brother of tke is welcome, at any time, we love to visit, tell stories, hang out, and party. if you can make we usually get together thursday nights, but having a brother visit is always an excuse to drink (lol). if you need it you could have a place to stay too. so if you wanna come down, we would be glad to have ya.

Thanks Lambda Zeta 442. I'll be sure to hit ya up while I'm home. I've read about the goal post hanging from your ceiling, and I wanna see that. In fact, I'm from Covington County, the Andalusia area. I have a friend that's at Troy now and he plays in the Sound of the South Band. I dunno if he'll rush later on though. Right now, we don't have a house here. Proposed is that we'll have a Greek Circle built around '05 for some of the Fraternities and Sororities that don't have a house. We're still working out the things like housing prices, etc. From what I've heard, we might buy a house later on if the housing prices are too high.

ohh really, good luck in getting a house, i love having ours, although it is not like a house at all, they are more like military barracks, it has 10 rooms, 1 big bathroom, a kitchen, social room and girls bathroom. we have a wrap around deck over a valley, a valleyball court and a basketball court, and the most important thing, a fire pit, we burn almost everything, well good luck

we don't have a house but you are always welcome to party and hang out with the Xi Iota Chapter at the University of Central Florida. Tell your brothers to come on and party with us again sometime.

I beleive we came to party at someone's house one night after our Bid night this semester. I remember ya'll had the beer pong table in the garage, and Poppi came w/ us.

Depending on which house you went to, there was probably a beer pong table in the garage, and in the living room, and in the backyard, and in the frontyard, and in the kitchen...
