Hello everyone!!
I'm a gamma phi beta at the Kappa Chapter at the University of Minnesota--Twin CIties. Myself along with one of my sisters at Gamma Phi have decided to train for a marathon taking place in January. It's with a program known as TNT (Team in Training). But here's the twist...the program is actually a fundraiser for the Leaukemia & Lymphoma societies to aid in research and assist struggling families. Our goal is $3500 each totaling $7000!!!! But we can't do it alone!! We need your help! I realize it's nearing the holidays and tax season but we were wondering if you would be willing to donate to our cause???? It seems so forthright for me to ask people who do not even know me to ask for such a thing, but in my heart I know this is a good cause. We can only change the world one step at a time and without funding, we will never find a cure for Leukemia & Lymphoma!! Did you knnow that Leaukemia is the number 1 disease killer in children!!! Our long runs on the weekends are tough....and we're sore for a few days afterwords. But then I think about the millions affected with Leaukemia and realize that these children haven't even had the opportunity to experience life.... Please HELP!!!!
